We all want to have a good morning. No one plans on starting the day off
on the wrong foot. But there it is anyway. We are rushed, tired, etc.
The kind of morning we have can even set the pace for the whole day.
With a little planning, though, we can have a really good morning and
start our day off right!
1. WAKING UP FEELING RESTED IS ESSENTIAL IF WE WANT TO HAVE A GOOD MORNING
Not getting enough sleep and feeling tired in the morning
can impact us all day. If you are getting enough sleep then you should
wake up fairly easily when the alarm goes off. If you are having to hit
the snooze button or you are dragging yourself out of bed then you
might not be getting enough sleep.
2. GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIME IN THE MORNING
Get up early enough so that you are not rushed and you can easily get everything done that you need to in the morning.
3. ENERGIZE YOURSELF
Exercise can really help to energize you. Just five minutes of stretching can make a difference.
4. EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST
Breakfast is essential for having the energy we need to start the day off right. Eating also helps us to control weight and that is definitely the right way to have a good morning.
5. RELAX
Take some time for yourself in the morning. We can get so bogged down in taking care of everything else that we
don't really take care of ourselves. Take a few minutes to relax and
do your own thing. Read the newspaper or whatever else helps you to
relax and refocus
